The medical statistics department provides statistical support to UHoSM employees and researchers based at Wythenshawe and Withington Hospitals.
Statistical support is offered to help researchers with:
- design of research studies and sample size calculations
- completion of grant funding and ethics approval forms
- data management and quality checking
- data analysis and interpretation of results
- research report writing and preparation of research papers
- critical appraisal of published papers
